As a luxury lifestyle journalist, Shaun Tolson has traveled the world covering a diverse group of subjects — from driving high-performance supercars on Formula One tracks to fly-fishing for brown and rainbow trout in Patagonia. His two biggest passions are spirits and golf. As a spirits writer, he’s ventured to hidden-gem distilleries along the bourbon trail and throughout Scotland. As a golfer, Shaun has played the sport for more than 30 years, and he’s written about it for almost two decades. His golf stories have appeared in a number of luxury publications, including Elite Traveler, Luxury magazine, and Robb Report, as well as golf-specific outlets such as LINKS magazine and SI.com. To date, he’s had the good fortune to tee it up on four continents, though his proudest accomplishment (so far) is breaking 80 (and recording his first eagle) on The Old Course at St. Andrews.
